Israel has launched another wave of strikes on Lebanon, keeping the northern front active even as wider regional talks focus on Iran and a possible pause in direct hostilities. Reports say evacuation orders were issued around Tyre before new strikes, forcing civilians to flee as the conflict continues to spill across borders.
The timing raises serious questions. While leaders speak about de-escalation, Lebanon remains under fire, and Israel has signalled it will continue operations it says are aimed at Hezbollah. For Lebanese civilians, that means more displacement, more fear, and no clear sign that the fighting is ending.
